North Conway NH Foliage Report
Foliage in North Conway and the NH White Mountains
As the days grow shorter and the nights get colder, the trees begin to show off their beautiful colors in North Conway and all of the surrounding areas. Although it is difficult to predict the exact peak foliage in the area, generally peak foliage occurs near the middle of October, give or take a week depending on weather conditions. Foliage starts turning earlier the further north you travel in New Hampshire.
Here are a list of links for live cameras in the North Conway Area. Keep in mind that these camera images do not show the spectacular colors up close, but will give you a general idea of the foliage conditions in the area.
Although North Conway NH and surrounding areas in the Mount Washington Valley have past the point of peak foliage , there are still many trees which have spectacular color. Look for a mix of beautiful yellows, golds, oranges, deep reds and browns with some trees having already shed their leaves.
A drive along the Kancamangus Highway (Rt 112) will give you an opportunity to enjoy lots of colors along the Swift River and on the surrounding mountain tops.
Here are a few prior foliage photos taken in the North Conway NH Area.
