DESCRIPTION:For anyone who’s had the privilege of bushwhacking in the Whi
 te Mountain National Forest (WMNF)\, you know just how instrumental the tr
 ails really are.\nIf you think our trails are rugged\, try pushing your wa
 y to the top of one of our 4000-footers off trail\, amid the “pencil woo
 ds” — conifers so dense you can’t even turn around to quit so you st
 and there\, angry\, frustrated\, almost sobbing. Wishing desperately at th
 at point that you had a trail to walk on. Yeah\, the trails mean that much
 . That also means your volunteering to help the trails is that important.\
 n\nFor 2026\, the plan is to demolish two cross-country ski bridges on the
  lower Nanamocomuck (Nah-Nah-Mah-Coh-Muck) Ski Trail. We’ve done this so
 rt of work in the past and it was fun\, challenging\, and quite interestin
