Foliage Report - September Week 4 2024

After this week’s very-much-needed rain, the colors around North Conway
are still mainly green with touches of color.

The photos above were taken in the Intervale and show the mountains surrounding this area to be mostly green, even higher in elevation. Warm days and cool nights are expected, so look for color to be gradual as we welcome in October.

The North Conway area and surrounding towns continue to show mostly green with touches of color throughout. Swampy areas will always show color first and drop foliage first as well. The notches, however, are beginning to show color at higher elevations. The warm temps will likely cause the season to move slow. The later-than-normal holiday weekend will likely prove an excellent time for viewing foliage in the White Mountains in 2024.
