North Conway NH ATV Trails & Equipment

ATV and UTV riding continues to grow in popularity in northern New Hampshire. There is an extensive OHRV trail system available for riders to enjoy thanks to the volunteer efforts of OHRV clubs throughout the state. These volunteers obtain landowner permission and perform much of the trail work on both private and public land.

There are a number of trails that wind through East Conway and across the state line into Fryeburg Maine.

Access to many other trails begins in Berlin New Hampshire which is about an hour north of North Conway. Jericho Mountain State Park offers more than eighty miles of trails for ATVs, UTVs and trail bikes.  This is a riding park for all abilities on trails that consist of easy and wide gravel roads to single track black diamond trails. Generally trails are open from May – October, after mud season in the spring and until trails become snow covered.

There are a number of facilities close to the trails that offer rentals along with sales and service.   Be advised that many require driver’s to be 21 years or older, have a valid driver’s license and wear a helmet which are often provided with the rental. Be sure to check on insurance as many make it clear, if you break it, you pay for it!
