Week of September 22, 2025
Lets begin by saying that the 2025 foliage season is on … and its looking good!
Colors are beginning to become more pronounced all around the White Mountains. In the Lincoln area, on the west side of the Kancamagus highway, and throughout the Conways, sprays of color are everywhere. Lots of green left so were just at the beginning. Yes, there has been lots of early leaf drop due to the dry conditions, but those are mainly on younger trees, stressed-out trees, or in swampy areas.
Travel to the upper parts of the Whites and you’ll see brilliant color throughout the notches and into Berlin, Gorham, and Whitefield.
Stay tuned for detailed reports!
