Foliage Report - October - Week 2 - 2025
Columbus Day foliage report:
The season continues to bring us a wide spread variety of conditions. The best foliage this weekend will be the north Conway areas and south.
Pinkham Notch is a bit past peak however, there are many areas of good color remaining, especially around the Mount Washington Auto Road, south into Jackson area
Crawford notch is well past peak with very limited color remaining.
Bretton Woods has very limited color remaining. See photos
The Route 153 area of Conway, Madison, Eaton, and Freedom looks excellent for this weekend.
The Chocorua Lake area also looks very good into Tamworth.
Route 112, the Kancamangus Highway, is still in very good condition with pockets of very good color surrounded by faded foliage.
