October – Week 3 – 2025 report:
Don’t look now, but the foliage around North Conway literally just got better! See the photos for yourself – all taken during the morning of 10/16/25
Following the inconsistency of the season, fall colors in the area have crept up a notch this week. While there are still vast areas of dull color seemingly everywhere, and especially throughout the notches and north, there are pockets of fantastic color still to be found.
Currently, there is very good color to be found in the Storyland area of Bartlett and the Westside Rd area north to Attitash Mountain. Madison, Eaton, Freedom, Tamworth … all still have good color. While there has been dull colors and widespread leaf drop happening daily, a good drive will show that pockets of color remain – especially south of North Conway on Route 153
